The 'Verse a Firefly Game
" Here's how it is: The Earth got used up, so we moved out and terraformed a whole new galaxy of Earths. Some rich and flush with the new technologies, some not so much. The Central Planets, thems formed the Alliance, waged war to bring everyone under their rule; a few idiots tried to fight it, among them myself. I'm Malcolm Reynolds, captain of Serenity. She's a transport ship; Firefly class. Got a good crew: fighters, pilot, mechanic. We even picked up a preacher for some reason, and a bona fide companion. There's a doctor, too, took his genius sister outta some Alliance camp, so they're keepin' a low profile. You understand. You got a job, we can do it, don't much care what it is. "

Welcome to The 'Verse, a Panfandom game that is set inside of Joss Whedon's Firefly Universe. The Verse takes place in an AU setting that takes place sometime after the end of Serenity. The Verse is a slow paced game that allows your character to become part of Captain Malcolm Reynold's crew.

They say there's very little honor among this band of infamous criminals who are willing to take any job just so long as the pay is good. Your character will find themselves plucked from their homeworld, and they will find themselves inside of a hideout for a band of just such mercenaries, thieves, or as they have been called a pack of scavenging vultures.

Welcome aboard the Serenity.

You have been given the glorious career as a space pirate and your skills will be put to good use for your duration in 'The Verse'. There is adventure lurking in every corner, and not only will your skills be tested, but your moral grounds might find themselves under constant pressure. Does your crew eat, or does the medicine you stole go to the towns people that need it most? In the Rim Worlds, people simply do what's needed to survive and to continue to fly. Morality does not come in the simple shades of black and white, but it comes in many different shades of gray.
